Mr. R. B. DAVIS has purchased a lot of George DEE, located on the east side of Main Street, and has commenced the erection of a new store. He will put in a good substancial (sic) frame building which thereon a two-story frame building which will be about 24x40 feet in size.

The building, when completed, will be for a general mercantile house.
