NEW PASTOR AT METHODIST CHURCH

Joseph Walker, pastor of the La Moille church for the past two years, was appointed pastor of the local Methodist church at the annual conference of the Rock River district in Earlville last Wednesday and Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Walker will move here the latter  part of the week and he wil occupy the pulpit next Sunday. Mr. Walker was appointed to this church two years ago but circumstances prevented him from accepting. At that time he occupied the pulpit one Sunday and was very well liked by those who heard him.
