website now has over 2100 pages of FREE information,
history, biographies and photos - and we're just getting
started! Many thanks to all of our contributors and
especially to Les Niemi for this months Tampico Tornado
transcriptions.
Our site count is up to 374,225. I have contacted as many
people as possible that are members of Classmates.com who
areTampico High School alumni. The response has been great.
If you know of anyone that may benefit or enjoy our site,
please pass the web address on to them. You can do this

I am in the process of transfering all of the Henry County
information over to the IL Trails - Henry County website.
http://iltrails.org/henry/ We will keep any "hard copy"
information we have archived in the "brick-and-mortor"
Tampico Hist. Soc. Museum in our Family History Library.

from the menu list on the left side of page. Chris Walters
does a mars from the Tampico Tornado Newspapers which are
archived at our musem. We have recently acquired original
copies of 1876-1880 and 1882 - even the State archives do
not have these copies!
